SQUADRA processes personal data that it receives from its customers (employers) and their employees when they use the SQUADRA online platform or the associated app for mobile devices. This includes surname, first name, home address, telephone numbers, e-mail, working and deployment times, absences, availability (job exchange) of employees and certain other fields defined by the employer.
Employees can also submit medical certificates securely via SQUADRA. SQUADRA makes this information available to employers directly in its online overview. Of course, only persons authorized by the employer can view the medical certificates.
Further personal data is only collected, processed and used with the consent of the user if this information is provided voluntarily, e.g. as part of an inquiry, search query or to justify, comment on, structure the content of or process an inquiry and for billing purposes, and if this is necessary to respond to or process the use of SQUADRA or the business relationship.
SQUADRA processes the personal data received from employees or customers exclusively in order to enable the services offered to users (including work preparation, working time recording, etc.) and the corresponding online overviews.
SQUADRA may collect, process and use the data collected in the course of using the services offered for the purposes of its own consulting, its own advertising and to improve the products and services offered by us. In addition, we may pass on the data collected to the service partners involved in the provision (e.g. hosting partners) if this is necessary while maintaining the purpose and security of the data. However, the data will only be passed on to these service partners for the purpose of fulfilling the contract and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
SQUADRA does not pass on personal data to third parties unless the disclosure has been expressly agreed for the stated purposes or the disclosure is expressly permitted or required by law.
However, the prohibition of data disclosure does not apply if SQUADRA is obliged by order of the competent authorities in individual cases to provide information to third parties, in particular government agencies, insofar as this is necessary for the purposes of criminal prosecution or to enforce SQUADRA's intellectual property rights or on the basis of other statutory provisions. No further consent is required for this.
Personal data on the website and the services offered are transmitted in encrypted form via the Internet. SQUADRA secures all services offered by suitable technical and organizational measures in accordance with recognized standards against loss, access, destruction, manipulation, disclosure or dissemination by unauthorized persons.
The SQUADRA servers for service fulfillment are located in multi-certified and specially secured data centers in Switzerland
SQUADRA also has a regularly reviewed data protection impact assessment (Art. 22 FADP).
The SQUADRA website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics (Google Ltd. Ireland, Dublin). This tool can be used to collect both anonymized and personalized data. In principle, it is possible that the data collected will be transmitted to Google servers in the USA. SQUADRA has no detailed knowledge of what data is transmitted to the third-party providers, where it is transmitted to and whether it is anonymized. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons by SQUADRA.
This data is also not merged with other data sources. The sole purpose of storing and statistically evaluating this non-assignable data is to ensure system security and the security of user data (e.g. detection of program errors or attacks on the system).
If you do not want your data to be collected by Google Analytics, you can find more information at the following link: https: //tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en Data generated and processed within SQUADRA is not subject to web analysis.

Within the framework of the statutory data protection provisions, you have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you, its origin and recipients, as well as the purpose of storage and to correction, blocking or deletion of your stored data. However, employees must assert their right to information directly with their employers. As a processor, SQUADRA is not authorised to provide information directly to employees.
If statutory, contractual, commercial or tax retention periods or reasons prevent deletion, your data will not be deleted but blocked.
